Abstract text:
The paper presents the results of investigations of samples collected in Katowice, at four housing estate sites where the facades of buildings are made of asbestos-cement materials and at the sites devoid of such materials, respectively. The collection of samples and their analysis have been conducted using the comprehensive method for the control of ambient air asbestos structure concentrations (Rożkowicz 2007, 2008). The samples were tested by the JEOL company manufactured JEM 3010 type transmission electron microscope equipped with the EDX spectrometer. The selected area-derived electron diffraction and energy dispersion X-ray spectrometry techniques were used to determine the internal structure and chemical composition of the asbestos in the samples.

W publikacji omówiono wyniki badań próbek pobranych na czterech osiedlach mieszkaniowych w Katowicach, na których elewacje budynków były wykonane z materiałów azbestowo-cementowych i próbek pobranych w terenie bez takich materiałów. Pobieranie próbek i ich analizę wykonano kompleksową metodą kontroli stężeń struktur azbestowych w powietrzu (Rożkowicz 2007, 2008). Próbki były badane w transmisyjnym mikroskopie elektronowym typu JEM 3010 firmy JEOL wyposażonym w spektrometr EDX. Stosowano techniki dyfrakcji elektronów z wydzielonego obszaru i rentgenospektrometrii z dyspersją energii w celu określenia budowy wewnętrznej i składu chemicznego azbestu w próbce.
